The chairman of Africa Independent Television
(AIT), Raymond Dokpesi, has been arrested by the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Dokpesi was arrested this afternoon and he is currently being quizzed. EFCC sources said Dokpesi was arrested because the Central Bank Nigeria paid N2.1billion to the AIT chairman on the instructions of the Dasuki.
Meanwhile, a former minister of state for finance, Bashir Yuguda, has been arrested together with other top officials from the office of the National Security Adviser over the controversial arms procurement scandal surrounding former NSA, Sambo Dasuki.
