Akufo Has Potentials To Outperform Buhari- Policy Analyst

Dr Charles Wereko-Brobby, chief policy analyst at the Ghana institute for public policy options has said he believes President Muhammadu Buhari’s performance in Africa can be surpassed.

The chief policy analyst says he is of the opinion that Nana Akufo-Addo, a Ghanaian politician will do better if elected president of Ghana.

Dr Wereko-Brobby debated that Nana Addo can match and surpass the feats attained by President Buhari in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

In an interview at Atinka FM on Thursday, December 3, Wereko-Brobby, stated that Nana Addo has the capabilities to even outperform the Nigerian president and make Ghana better than it is in the current dispensation under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by President John Dramani Mahama.
The founding member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), said in his view, President Mahama’s approach to dealing with issues of corruption among his appointees is too weak.

It is worthy to note that President Buhari has received commendation globally for taking decisive steps to root corruption out of Nigeria.

The Nigerian president has also introduced several policies towards reforming the West African nation.
Following Buhariu’s stand on the ousting of corruption and corrupt officials in Nigeria, there are indication that a panic currently rocks the camp of former ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), due to the arrest of some of the party’s chieftains by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
