The Super Eagles of Nigeria continue their quest to reach the finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup this Friday November 13, when they play away to Swaziland.
The Eagles camp at the Bolton White Apartments, Abuja is building-up as Odion Ighalo joined the team.
All invited goalkeepers, Carl Ikeme, , Portugal-based Dele Alampasu and Ikechukwu Ezenwa of Sunshine Stars are also present with the team.
Others present include defenders Chima Akas of Sharks and Abia Warriors’ Austin Oboroakpo.
The media officer of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye, revealed that all other invitees are expected to hit the training camp by Monday evening for the commencement of full training.
However, Patrick Pascal who is the team coordinator has confirmed that coach Sunday Oliseh will be available for the all-important encounter.
“Oliseh had been excused for two weeks to get medical treatment abroad after taking ill in camp during preparations for the second leg of the African Nations Championship qualifier against Burkina Faso on October 24.
“We thank God, the head coach (Sunday Oliseh) is back and he is hale and hearty. We are very happy to have him back in sound health. We also have all the assistant coaches and backroom staff on ground,” Pascal told goal.com
“We have few players already arriving and expect a full house by Monday afternoon. The coach (Oliseh) is likely to begin training as soon as we have more players on ground on Monday evening,” he concluded.
The Eagles play away to Swaziland in Lobamba Friday, November 13 with the return-leg at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, November 17.
